حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ ثنا قَتَادَةُ بْنُ الْفُضَيْلُ الرَّهَاوِيَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتَ أَبَا حَاضِرٍ يُحَدِّثَ عَنِ الْوَضِينِ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ الدِّمَشْقِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «يَدْخُلُ فُقَرَاءُ أُمَّتِي الْجَنَّةَ قَبْلَ أَغْنِيَائِهِمْ بِأَرْبَعِينَ خَرِيفًا» قُلْتُ صِفْهُمْ لَنَا قَالَ «هُمُ الدَّسِمَةُ ثِيَابُهُمْ الشَّعِثَةُ رُءُوسُهُمْ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ عَلَى السُّدَّاتِ وَلَا يَنْكِحُونَ الْمُتَمَنِّعَاتِ يُوَكَّلُ بِهِمْ مَشَارِقُ الْأَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبُهَا يُعْطُونَ كُلَّ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا يُعْطَوْنَ كُلَّ الَّذِي لَهُمْ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "The poor of my Ummah will enter Paradise before their rich by forty autumns." I said: "Describe them to us." He said: "They are those whose clothes are greasy, whose heads are disheveled, who are not granted permission at the gates, and who do not marry the protected women. The easts and wests of the earth are entrusted to them; they give all that is upon them and are not given all that is due to them."
