حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «رَأَيْتُ فِي النَّوْمِ أَنِّي أُعْطِيتُ عُسًّا مَمْلُوءًا لَبَنًا فَشَرِبْتُ مِنْهُ حَتَّى تَمَلَّأْتُ حَتَّى رَأَيْتُهُ يَجْرِي فِي عُرُوقِي بَيْنَ الْجِلْدِ وَاللَّحْمِ فَفَضَلَتْ فَضْلَةٌ وَأَعْطَيْتُهَا عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ» فَأَوِّلُوهَا قَالُوا يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ هَذَا عِلْمٌ أَعْطَاكَ اللهُ فَمَلَأَكَ مِنْهُ فَفَضَلَتْ فَضْلَةٌ فَأَعْطَيْتَهَا عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابُ فَقَالَ «أَصَبْتُمْ»

✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I saw in a dream that I was given a large wooden cup full of milk, and I drank from it until I was filled, until I saw it flowing in my veins between the skin and the flesh. Some remained, and I gave it to 'Umar b. al-Khattab." They said, "Interpret it, O Prophet of Allah." He said, "This is knowledge that Allah gave you and filled you with, and some remained, so you gave it to 'Umar b. al-Khattab." He said, "You have spoken correctly."
