أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ «سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ» ثُمَّ يَقُولُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ «اللهُمَّ الْعَنْ فُلَانًا وَفُلَانًا ثُمَّ يُكَبِّرُ وَيَسْجُدُ» حَتَّى أَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷻ {لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ}

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ used to say: “God hears the one who praises Him. Our Lord, to You belongs all praise,” then before prostrating he would say: “O God, curse so-and-so and so-and-so,” then he would say the takbir and prostrate—until God, exalted is He, sent down: “You have no part in the matter.”
