حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
«جَاءَ بِي أَبِي يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا ابْنُ أَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ فَلَمْ يُجِزْنِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ ثُمَّ جَاءَ بِي يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ وَأَنَا ابْنُ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ فَفَرَضَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ» قَالَ نَافِعٌ «فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهِ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ فَأَمَرَ بِأَنْ لَا يُفْرَضَ إِلَّا لِابْنِ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ»

✧ "My father brought me on the day of Uhud to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when I was fourteen years old, and the Prophet ﷺ did not permit me. Then he brought me on the day of the Trench when I was fifteen, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ allotted a share for me." Nafi' said, "I narrated this to Umar b. Abd al-Aziz, and he ordered that no one be allotted a share except one who was fifteen years old."
