حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ثنا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ

عَنْ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ الصَّيْقَلِ مَوْلَى بَنِي أَسَدٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ تَمَّامِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا لَكُمْ تَدْخُلُونَ عَلَيَّ قُلْحًا اسْتَاكُوا فَلَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لَأَمَرْتُهُمْ بِالسِّوَاكِ عِنْدَ كُلِّ طُهُورٍ»

✧ From Abū ʿAlī al-Ṣayqal, the freedman of Banū Asad, from Jaʿfar b. Tammām b. ʿAbbās, from his father, who said: The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “Why do you enter upon me with yellow teeth? Use the siwāk. Were it not that I would make things difficult for my community, I would command them to use the siwāk at every purification.”
