حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْجَزَّارِ عَنْ أَبِي الصَّهْبَاءِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
«أَقْبَلْتُ عَلَى حِمَارٍ وَمَعِي رِدْفٌ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي أَرْضٍ خَلَاءٍ فَنَزَلْنَا ثُمَّ جِئْنَا حَتَّى دَخَلْنَا فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَتَرَكْنَا الْحِمَارَ قُدَّامَهُمْ فَمَا بَالَى ذَلِكَ وَأَقْبَلَتْ جَارِيَتَانِ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ يَشَتَدَّانِ يَتْبَعُ إِحْدَاهُمَا الْأُخْرَى حَتَّى انْتَهَتَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فَفَرَّقَ بَيْنَهُمَا فَمَا بَالَى ذَلِكَ»

✧ “I came on a donkey, with a rider behind me from Banū ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib, while the Messenger of God ﷺ was praying in an open area. We dismounted and then came and joined the prayer, leaving the donkey in front of them, and he did not mind that. Then two slave girls from Banū ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib came running, one chasing the other, until they reached the Prophet ﷺ during the prayer while he was praying, and he separated them, and he did not mind that.”
