حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أُرِيدَ عَلَى بِنْتِ حَمْزَةَ فَقَالَ «إِنَّهَا لَا تَصْلُحُ لِي إِنَّهَا ابْنَةُ أَخِي مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ وَإِنَّهُ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ was sought for the daughter of Hamzah, and he said: "She is not lawful for me. She is the daughter of my brother through suckling, and whatever is forbidden by lineage is forbidden by suckling."
