حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ التَّمَّارِ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ حُجْرٍ السَّامِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا عَفَّانُ قَالَا ثنا نُوحُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَالِكٍ النُّكْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَوْزَاءِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
«كَانَتِ امْرَأَةٌ جَمِيلَةٌ تُصَلِّي خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَكَانَ نَاسٌ يَتَقَدَّمُونَ وَنَاسٌ يَتَأَخَّرُونَ لِيَنْظُرُوا إِلَيْهَا» فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷻ {وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنْكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَأْخِرِينَ}

✧ "There was a beautiful woman who used to pray behind the Prophet ﷺ. Some people would advance and some would delay in order to look at her." Then Allah ﷻ revealed: {And We have already known the foremost among you, and We have already known the ones who lag behind} (Quran 15:24).
