حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّيْمِيُّ ثنا صَالِحُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَبُو يَحْيَى عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَالِكٍ النُّكْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَوْزَاءِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَخَذَ بِعِضَادَتَيِ الْبَابِ وَنَحْنُ فِي الْبَيْتِ فَقَالَ «يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ هَلْ فِيكُمْ أَحَدٌ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ؟» قَالُوا ابْنُ أُخْتٍ لَنَا فَقَالَ «ابْنُ أُخْتِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ» ثُمَّ قَالَ «يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ إِذَا نَزَلَ بِكُمْ كَرْبٌ أَوْ حُمَةٌ أَوْ جَهْدٌ أَوْ لَأْوَاءٌ فَقُولُوا اللهُ اللهُ رَبُّنَا لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took hold of the two side-posts of the door while we were in the house and said, "O Banu 'Abd al-Muttalib, is there anyone among you from other than you?" They said, "A son of our sister." He said, "The son of a people's sister is from them." Then he said, "O Banu 'Abd al-Muttalib, if distress, fever, hardship, or adversity befalls you, say: Allah, Allah, our Lord, He has no partner."
