حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الدِّمْيَاطِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْهُذَلِيُّ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ تَمِيمٍ الدَّارِيِّ قَالَ
قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ أُنَاسًا يَجُبُّونَ أَسْنِمَةَ الْإِبِلِ وَأَذْنَابَ الْغَنَمِ وَهِي أَحْيَاءُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا قُطِعَ مِنَ الْبَهِيمَةِ وَهِي حَيَّةٌ فَهُوَ مَيْتَةٌ»

✧ They said, "O Messenger of God, there are people who cut off the humps of camels and the tails of sheep while they are alive." The Messenger of God ﷺ said, "Whatever is cut from an animal while it is alive is carrion."
