حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمَّارِ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ مُطَرِّفُ بْنُ طَرِيفٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْعَوْفِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «كَيْفَ أَنْعَمُ وَقَدِ الْتَقَمَ صَاحِبُ الْقَرْنِ الْقَرْنَ؟» وَحَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ جَبْهَتَهُ «يَنْتَظِرُ مَتَى يُؤْمَرُ فَيَنْفُخُ» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَكَيْفَ نَقُولُ؟ قَالَ {حَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ} ثُمَّ قَرَأَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ {فَإِذَا نُقِرَ فِي النَّاقُورِ}

✧ That the Messenger of God ﷺ said: "How can I be at ease when the Companion of the Horn has already taken the horn in his mouth?" And the Messenger of God ﷺ inclined his forehead, "waiting for when he is commanded, then he blows." They said, "O Messenger of God, what shall we say?" He said: "{Sufficient for us is God, and how excellent a Trustee is He}." Then the Messenger of God ﷺ recited: {So when the trumpet is blown}.
