حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ التَّمَّارُ ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ عَنْ نَهْشَلِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ مُزَاحِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ أَمَنَّ عَلَيَّ فِي يَدِهِ مِنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ زَوَّجَنِي ابْنَتَهُ وَأَخْرَجَنِي إِلَى دَارِ الْهِجْرَةِ وَلَوْ كُنْتُ مُتَّخِذًا خَلِيلًا لَاتَّخَذْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ خَلِيلًا وَلَكِنْ إِخَاءُ مَوَدَّةٍ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "No one has done me more favors than Abu Bakr. He gave me his daughter in marriage, helped me migrate to the abode of emigration, and if I were to take a close friend (khalil), I would have taken Abu Bakr as a close friend, but instead there is the brotherhood of affection until the Day of Resurrection."
