✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to be cupped three times: on the two jugular veins or between the shoulder blades. A servant of his from Bayadah, called Abu Hind, cupped him. He used to pay his family a mudd and a half every day, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ interceded for him, so they reduced it by half a mudd. After that, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to give the cupper his wage, and had it been unlawful, he would not have given it to him.
