حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
«تَزَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَيْمُونَةَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ» هَكَذَا رَوَاهُ مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ وَرَوَاهُ أَصْحَابُ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَهُوَ الصَّحِيحُ

✧ "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married Maymunah while he was in ihram." This is how Muʿawiyah b. Hisham narrated it. But the companions of al-Thawri narrated it from al-Thawri, from ʿAmr b. Dinar, from Jabir b. Zayd, from Ibn ʿAbbas, and that is the correct version.
