✧ “Umm Ḥufayd, my maternal aunt, sent to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ some clarified butter, dried curd, and dabb lizards. He ate from the clarified butter and the dried curd, and left the dabb lizards out of disgust. Had they been unlawful, they would not have been eaten at the table of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.”
