✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed Fajr on the day of ʿAshura. When he finished, he said: "Whoever among you has begun the day fasting, let him complete his fast; and whoever has not begun the day fasting, let him not eat anything. For this is a day on which Musa was given victory over Pharaoh, so the Jews fasted it in gratitude, and we have a greater right to gratitude."
