حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْمُؤَدِّبُ ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْعَطَّارُ ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ {لَا أُقْسِمُ بِهَذَا الْبَلَدِ} «مَكَّةُ» {وَأَنْتَ حِلٌّ بِهَذَا الْبَلَدِ} «مَكَّةُ» {وَوَالِدٍ وَمَا وَلَدَ لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي كَبَدٍ} «فِي اعْتِدَالٍ وَفِي انْتِصَابٍ»

✧ On the authority of Ibn Abbas: "{I swear by this city} - Makkah, {and you are free in this city} - Makkah, {and [by] a parent and what he fathered, We have certainly created man in hardship} - in uprightness and in erectness."
