حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصِّينِيُّ ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللهُ ﷻ ابْنَ آدَمَ إِنَّكَ مَا دَعَوْتَنِي وَرَجَوْتَنِي غَفَرْتُ لَكَ عَلَى مَا كَانَ فِيكَ وَلَوْ أَتَيْتَنِي بِقُرَابِ الْأَرْضِ خَطَايَا لَقِيتُكَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مَغْفِرَةً مَا لَمْ تُشْرِكْ بِي وَلَوْ بَلَغَتْ خَطَايَاكَ عَنَانَ السَّمَاءِ ثُمَّ اسْتَغْفَرْتَنِي لَغَفَرْتُ لَكَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Allah ﷻ said: “O son of Adam, as long as you call upon Me and hope in Me, I forgive you for what is in you, and I do not mind. Even if you were to come to Me with sins nearly filling the earth, I would meet you with nearly as much forgiveness, as long as you do not associate anything with Me. Even if your sins reached the height of the sky, then you sought My forgiveness, I would forgive you.”
