حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ قَالَا ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «تُحْشَرُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حُفَاةً عُرَاةً غُرْلًا» ثُمَّ قَرَأَ {كَمَا بَدَأْنَا أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍ نُعِيدُهُ وَعْدًا عَلَيْنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا فَاعِلِينَ} فَأَوَّلُ مَنْ يُكْسَى إِبْرَاهِيمُ وَيُؤْخَذُ بِرِجَالٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِي ذَاتَ الْيَمِينِ وَذَاتَ الشِّمَالِ فَأَقُولُ أَصْحَابِي فَيُقَالُ إِنَّهُمْ لَمْ يَزَالُوا مُرْتَدِّينَ عَلَى أَعْقَابِهِمْ مُنْذُ فَارَقْتَهُمْ فَأَقُولُ كَمَا قَالَ الْعَبْدُ الصَّالِحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ {كُنْتُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا مَا دُمْتُ فِيهِمْ فَلَمَّا تَوَفَّيْتَنِي كُنْتَ أَنْتَ الرَّقِيبَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ} {إِنْ تُعَذِّبْهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ عِبَادُكَ وَإِنْ تَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ فَإِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ}

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “You will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection barefoot, naked, and uncircumcised.” Then he recited: {As We began the first creation, We will repeat it. [That is] a promise binding upon Us. Indeed, We will do it.} The first to be clothed will be Ibrahim, and men from my companions will be taken to the right and to the left. I will say, “My companions!” It will be said, “They kept turning back on their heels since you left them.” I will say as the righteous servant Isa ibn Maryam said: {I was a witness over them as long as I was among them; but when You took me up, You were the Observer over them, and You are, over all things, Witness.} {If You punish them, they are Your servants; and if You forgive them, indeed it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.}
