حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزيْدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ح وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَاعِزٌ فَاعْتَرَفَ مَرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «اذْهَبُوا بِهِ» ثُمَّ قَالَ رُدُّوهُ فَاعْتَرَفَ مَرَّتَيْنَ حَتَّى اعْتَرَفَ أَرْبَعَ مَرَّاتٍ؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «اذْهَبُوا بِهِ فَارْجُمُوهُ»

✧ Ma'iz came to the Prophet ﷺ and confessed twice. Then he said: 'Take him away.' Then he said: 'Bring him back,' and he confessed twice more, until he confessed four times. Then the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Take him away and stone him.'
