حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ أَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ
دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْبَيْتَ فَوَجَدَ فِيهِ صُورَةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَصُورَةَ مَرْيَمَ فَقَالَ «أَمَّا هُمْ قَدْ سَمِعُوا أَنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَا يَدْخُلُونَ بَيْتًا فِيهِ صُورَةٌ هَذَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ مُصَوَّرٌ فَمَا بَالُهُ يَسْتَقْسِمُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the House and found in it an image of Ibrahim and an image of Maryam. He said, “As for them, they have heard that the angels do not enter a house in which there is an image. This is Ibrahim depicted, so what is the matter with him that he is seeking divination by arrows?”
