حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُطِيعٍ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي غَنِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
لَمَّا رَجَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ مِنْ أُحُدٍ بَكَتْ نِسَاءُ الْأَنْصَارِ عَلَى شُهَدائِهِمْ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «لَكِنْ حَمْزَةُ لَا بَوَاكِيَ لَهُ» فَرَجَعَتِ الْأَنْصَارُ فَقَالَتْ لنِسائِهِنَّ لَا تَبْكِينَ أَحَدًا حَتَّى تَنْدُبْنَ حَمْزَةَ قَالَ فَقَالَ فِيهِمْ إِلَى الْيَوْمِ لَا تَبْكِينَ إِلَّا بَدَيْنَ بِحَمْزَةَ

✧ When the Messenger of Allah returned from Uhud, the women of the Ansar cried over their martyrs. The Prophet ﷺ was informed of this and he said, "But Hamza has no one to mourn him." So, the women of the Ansar returned and said to their womenfolk, "Do not cry for anyone until you lament for Hamza." He said about them until this day, "Do not cry except for Hamza."
