حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ ثنا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ طَرِيفٍ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ
عَنْ قَوْلِهِ {شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ} وَقَوْلِهِ {إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةٍ مُبَارَكَةٍ} فَقَالَ «إِنَّهُ قَدْ أُنْزِلَ فِي رَمَضَانَ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ مُبَارَكَةٍ جُمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً ثُمَّ أُرْسِلَ عَلَى مَوَاقِعِ النُّجُومِ رِسْلًا فِي الشُّهُورِ وَالْأَيَّامِ»

✧ Regarding His saying: "The month of Ramadan in which the Qur'an was sent down" and His saying: "Indeed, We sent it down on a blessed night," he said: "It was sent down in Ramadan on the Night of Decree, on a blessed night, all at once, then it was sent down gradually at the positions of the stars over the months and days."
