حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلْمٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ

رَحَّلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ضَعَفَةَ أَهْلِهِ مِنَ الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ بِلَيْلٍ ثُمَّ جَاءَنَا وَاحِدًا وَاحِدًا حَتَّى يَضْرِب عَلَى فَخِذَيْهِ فَكُنْتُ مِمَّنْ ضَرَبَ عَلَى فَخِذَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «يَا بُنَيَّ لَا تَرْمُوا جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent the weak members of his family from Muzdalifah at night, then he came to us one by one, striking us on our thighs. I was one of those he struck on the thigh. Then he said: "O my son, do not throw the pebbles at Jamrat al-ʿAqabah until the sun has risen."
