حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الطَّحَّانُ ثنا عَائِذُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

«سَافَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَشَكَا إِلَيْهِ أَصْحَابُهُ الْعَطَشَ فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَشَرِبَ فَأَفْطَرَ بَعْضُ النَّاسِ وَصَامَ بَعْضُهُمْ فَلَمْ يَعِبْ وَاحِدٌ مِنَ الْفَرِيقَيْنِ مَا صَنَعَ أَصْحَابُهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ traveled during the month of Ramadan. His companions complained to him of thirst, so he called for water and drank, and then some of the people broke their fast while others continued to fast. Neither of the two groups criticized what the other had done.
