حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي عَبْلَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ بُدَيْلِ بْنِ وَرْقَاءَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «أَمَرَ بُدَيْلًا أَنْ يَحْبِسَ السَّبَايَا وَالْأَمْوَالَ بِالْجِعْرَانَةِ حَتَّى يَقْدَمَ عَلَيْهِ فَحُبِسَتْ»

✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ “ordered Budayl to detain the captives and the spoils at al-Jiʿrana until he came to him, so they were detained.”
