حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْحَلَبِيُّ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا مَاتَ الْمُكَاتَبُ وَتَرَكَ مِيرَاثًا أَوْ أَصَابَ حَدًّا فَإِنَّهُ يَرِثُ عَلَى قَدْرِ مَا أُعْتِقَ مِنْهُ وَيُقَامُ عَلَيْهِ الْحَدُّ بِقَدْرِ مَا أُعْتِقَ مِنْهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “If a mukatab dies and leaves an inheritance, or becomes liable to a prescribed punishment, he inherits according to the portion of him that has been freed, and the prescribed punishment is carried out on him according to the portion of him that has been freed.”
