حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ثنا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّ جَمِيلَةَ بِنْتَ سَلُولٍ أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي لَا أَعْيَبُ عَلَى ثَابِتِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ فِي خُلُقٍ وَلَا دَيْنٍ وَلَكِنِّي لَا أُطِيقُهُ وَأَكْرَهُ الْكُفْرَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «تَرُدِّينَ عَلَيْهِ حَدِيقَتَهُ؟» قَالَتْ نَعَمْ فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ مِنْهَا مَا سَاقَ إِلَيْهَا وَلَا يَزْدَادَ

✧ Jamilah bt. Salul came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: “O Messenger of Allah, I do not fault Thabit b. Qays in character or religion, but I cannot bear him, and I hate disbelief after Islam.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Will you return his garden to him?” She said: “Yes.” So the Prophet ﷺ ordered him to take back from her what he had given her and not to take any more.
