حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَابَانَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ الْحَمَّالُ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى ثَلَاثًا وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ ذُو الشِّمَالَيْنِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَنَقُصَتِ الصَّلَاةُ؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَكَذَلِكَ ذَا الْيَدَيْنِ؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ فَرَكَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ رَكْعَةً وَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ prayed three [rak'ahs] and gave the salam. Dhu al-Shimalayn said, "O Messenger of Allah, has the prayer been shortened?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "Is it as Dhu al-Yadayn says?" He said, "Yes." So the Prophet ﷺ prayed one rak'ah and prostrated twice.
