✧ The people disputed about the new moon during the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ. Then a Bedouin came and testified that he had seen it. The Prophet ﷺ said, “Do you testify that there is no god but God and that I am the Messenger of God?” He said, “Yes.” So the Prophet ﷺ ordered Bilal, and he proclaimed, “Fasting is tomorrow.”
