✧ A cooked lizard was gifted to one of the wives of the Prophet ﷺ, and she sent it to the Prophet ﷺ. The people ate, but the Prophet ﷺ did not eat. Khālid b. al-Walīd said, “O Messenger of Allah, is it forbidden, so we should leave it?” He said, “No, but I find it repulsive.”
