حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْجَوْزَاءِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَنِ اسْتَمَعَ إِلَى حَدِيثِ قَوْمٍ وَهُمْ لَهُ كَارِهُونَ صُبَّ فِي أُذُنِهَ الْآنُكُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ أَرَى عَيْنَيْهِ فِي الْمَنَامِ مَا لَمْ يَرَ كُلِّفَ أَنْ يَعْقِدَ شَعِيرَةً»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever listens to a people’s conversation while they dislike it will have molten lead poured into his ear on the Day of Resurrection; and whoever pretends to have seen a dream that he did not see will be charged with tying a knot between two grains of barley.”
