حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ أَبَانَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ {وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا مِمَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ اسْمُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِ} أَرْسَلَتْ فَارِسُ إِلَى قُرَيْشٍ أَنْ خاصِمُوا مُحَمَّدًا وَقُولُوا لَهُ مَا تَذْبَحُ أَنْتَ بِيَدِكَ بِسِكِّينٍ فَهُوَ حَلَالٌ وَمَا ذَبَحَ اللهُ بِشَمْشِيرٍ منْ ذَهَبٍ فَهُوَ حَرَامٌ فَنَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ {وَإِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ لَيُوحُونَ إِلَى أَوْلِيَائِهِمْ لِيُجَادِلُوكُمْ} قَالَ «الشَّيَاطِينُ منْ فَارِسَ وَأوْلِيَاؤُهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ»

✧ When this verse was revealed: {And do not eat of that over which the name of Allah has not been mentioned}, Persia sent to Quraysh: 'Dispute with Muhammad and say to him: What you slaughter with your own hand using a knife is lawful, but what Allah slaughters with a sword of gold is unlawful.' Then this verse was revealed: {And indeed the devils inspire their allies to dispute with you}. He said: 'The devils are from Persia and their allies are from Quraysh.'
