حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ صَاحِبُ الْمَغَازِي ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
مَشَى مَعَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى بَقِيعِ الْغَرْقَدِ ثُمَّ وَجَّهَهُمْ فَقَالَ «انْطَلِقُوا عَلَى اسْمِ اللهِ اللهُمَّ أَعِنْهُمْ» ثُمَّ رَجَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى بَيْتِهِ يَعْنِي فِي قَتْلِ ابْنِ الْأَشْرَفِ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ walked with them to Baqiʿ al-Gharqad, then sent them off and said: “Go in the name of God. O God, help them.” Then the Messenger of God ﷺ returned to his house — meaning regarding the killing of Ibn al-Ashraf.
