حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ الْمَازِنِيُّ ثنا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «كَانَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَبَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَزِيغَ الشَّمْسُ رَكِبَ وَأَخَّرَ الظُّهْرَ حَتَّى يَجْمَعَهَا مَعَ الْعَصْرِ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَبَ وَقَدْ زَاغَتِ الشَّمْسُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْكَبَ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَبَ وَقْتَ الْمَغْرِبِ صَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَاءَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْكَبَ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَبَ قَبْلَ وَقْتِ الْمَغْرِبِ أَخَّرَ الْمَغْرِبَ حَتَّى يَجْمَعَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْعِشَاءِ»

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ wanted to mount before the sun declined, he would mount and delay Zuhr until he combined it with Asr. When he wanted to mount after the sun had declined, he would combine Zuhr and Asr before mounting. When he wanted to mount at the time of Maghrib, he would pray Maghrib and Isha before mounting. When he wanted to mount before the time of Maghrib, he would delay Maghrib until he combined it with Isha.
