حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْباعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَمَّا مَاتَ مِنَ اللَّحْمِ الَّذِي كَانَتِ الْيَهُودِيَّةُ سَمَّتْهُ فَانْقَطَعَ أَبْهَرُهُ مِنَ السُّمِّ عَلَى رَأْسِ السَّنَةِ فَكَانَ يَقُولُ «مَا زِلْتُ أَجِدُ مِنْهُ حِسًّا»

✧ When the Messenger of God ﷺ died from the meat which a Jewish woman had poisoned for him, his aorta was severed by the poison at the beginning of the year, and he would say: “I have not ceased to feel pain from it.”
