حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّرْجُمَانِيُّ ثنا حَكِيمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ عَنْ خُصَيْفٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ شَرِبَ حَسْوَةَ خَمْرٍ لَمْ يَقْبَلِ اللهُ مِنْهُ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ صَرْفًا وَلَا عَدْلًا وَمَنْ شَرِبَ كَأْسًا لَمْ يَقْبَلِ اللهُ مِنْهُ أَرْبَعِينَ صَبَاحًا وَالْمُدْمِنُ الْخَمْرَ حَقٌّ عَلَى اللهِ أَنْ يَسْقِيَهُ مِنْ نَهْرِ الْخَبَالِ» قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَمَا نَهَرُ الْخَبَالِ؟ قَالَ «صَدِيدُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever drinks a sip of wine, Allah will not accept from him his prayers and good deeds for three days. And whoever drinks a cup (of wine), Allah will not accept from him his prayers and good deeds for forty mornings. And the habitual drinker of wine, it is a right upon Allah that He gives him to drink from the river of Al-Khabal." It was asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the river of Al-Khabal?" He said, "It is the pus of the people of Hellfire."
