حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحَرِيشِ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ خِرَاشٍ عَنِ الْعَوَّامِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ ما قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُضَحِّي بِكَبْشَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ يَضَعُ رِجْلَهُ عَلَى صِفَاحِهِمَا إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَذْبَحَ وَيَقُولُ «بِسْمِ اللهِ مِنْكَ وَلَكَ اللهُمَّ تَقَبَّلَ مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to sacrifice two horned rams that were white with black markings. He would place his foot on their sides when he intended to slaughter them and say: "In the name of Allah, from You and for You. O Allah, accept from Muhammad."
