حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَخْلَدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْجَرْجَرَائِيُّ ثنا مَعْمَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الرَّقِّيُّ عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا نِكَاحَ إِلَّا بِوَلِيٍّ وَالسُّلْطَانُ وَلِيُّ مَنْ لَا وَلِيَّ لَهُ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: “There is no marriage except with a guardian, and the ruler is the guardian of the one who has no guardian.”
