✧ Al-Qaʿnabī narrated to us: Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah narrated to us, from ʿAmr b. Dīnār, from Ibn ʿAbbās, who said: ʿUkāẓ, Mijannah, and Dhū al-Majāz were markets in the Jāhiliyyah. When Islam came, they felt sinful [about trading there during Hajj], so Allah ﷻ sent down: {There is no blame upon you for seeking bounty from your Lord} during the Hajj seasons.
