حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا شَاذَانُ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْحِمْصِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ الْقُرَشِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
جَاءَ جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بسَفَرْ جَلِةٍ قَدِمَ بِهَا مِنَ الطَّائِفِ فَنَاوَلَهُ إِيَّاهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَيَذْهَبُ بِطَخَاوَةِ الصَّدْرِ وَيَجْلُو الْفُؤَادَ»

✧ Jābir b. ʿAbd Allāh came to the Prophet ﷺ with a basket of fresh dates that he had brought from al-Ṭāʾif and handed it to him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "It removes the heaviness of the chest and clears the heart."
