حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ جَاءَ إِلَى زَمْزَمَ فَنَزَعْنَا لَهُ دَلْوًا فَشَرِبَ ثُمَّ مَجَّ فِي الدَّلْوِ ثُمَّ صَببناهُ فِي زَمْزَمَ ثُمَّ قَالَ «لَوْلَا أَنْ تُغْلَبُوا عَلَيْهَا لَنَزَعْتُ بِيَدِي»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to Zamzam. We drew a bucket for him, and he drank, then he spat into the bucket, then we poured it back into Zamzam. Then he said: "Were it not that you would be overcome, I would have drawn it with my own hand."
