حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْباعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْجُعْفِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ثنا مُسْلِمٌ الضَّبِّيُّ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ الْمَيِّتَ إِذَا دُفِنَ سَمِعَ خَفْقَ نِعَالِهِمْ إِذَا وَلَّوْا عَنْهُ مُنْصِرفينَ»
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When a dead person is buried, he hears the sound of their sandals when they turn away from him departing."
