حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ قَالَ

مَسَحَ بِلَالٌ عَلَى مُوقَيْهِ فَقِيلَ لَهُ مَا هَذَا؟ قَالَ «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَالْخِمَارِ» لَمْ يَذْكُرْ مَعْمَرٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ أَبَا إِدْرِيسَ وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ

Translation

✧ Bilal wiped over his leather socks, and it was said to him: 'What is this?' He said: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wiping over the leather socks and the turban.' Ma'mar did not mention Abu Idris in his hadith, and likewise Yahya b. Abi Ishaq narrated it from Abu Qilabah.
