حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ

أَنَّ بِلَالًا مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ ؓ أَخْبَرَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ «أَنَّهُ أَقْبَلَ مِنَ الْغَائِطِ يَوْمَ غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ فَدَعَا بِوَضُوءٍ فَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ»

✧ Bilal, the freed slave of Abu Bakr ؓ, reported from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he came from relieving himself on the day of the Battle of Tabuk and called for water for ablution and wiped over the leather socks.
