حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْباعِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْجُعْفِيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ثنا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ أَحْسَبُهُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
«إِنْ كَانَ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعَوَالِي لِيَدْعُو رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بِنِصْفِ اللَّيْلِ عَلَى خُبْزِ الشَّعِيرِ فَيُجِيبُ»

- Abū al-Zinbāʿ
✧ A man from the people of al-Awali would sometimes invite the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at midnight to share barley bread, and he would accept.
