حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ ثنا جُبَارَةُ بْنُ الْمُغَلِّسِ ثنا أَبُو شَيْبَةَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «اغْزُوا تَغْنَمُوا بَنَاتَ الْأَصْفَرِ» فَقَالَ نَاسٌ مِنَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ إِنَّهُ ليَفْتِنُكُمْ بِالنِّسَاءِ فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷻ {وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَقُولُ ائْذَنْ لِي وَلَا تَفُتِنِّي}

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Go on military expeditions and you will gain the daughters of the yellow ones.” Some of the hypocrites said: “He is tempting you with women.” Then Allah ﷻ revealed: “Among them are those who say, ‘Grant me leave and do not tempt me.’”
