حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ السَّدُوسِيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحُصَيْنِ الْعُقَيْلِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُلَاثَةَ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ أَبَانَ عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَوْتُ الْغَرِيبِ شَهَادَةٌ إِذَا احْتُضِرَ فَرَمَى بِبَصَرِهِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ فَلَمْ يَرَ إِلَّا غَرِيبًا وَذَكَرَ أَهْلَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ وَتَنَفَّسَ فَلَهُ بِكُلِّ نَفَسٍ يَتَنَفَسُّهُ يَمْحُو اللهُ أَلْفَيْ أَلْفِ سَيِّئَةٍ وَيَكْتُبُ لَهُ أَلْفَيْ أَلْفِ حَسَنَةٍ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said, “The death of a stranger is martyrdom. When he is at the point of death, he casts his gaze to his right and to his left and sees no one but strangers. He remembers his family and children and takes a breath; for every breath he takes, God erases two thousand thousand sins and records for him two thousand thousand good deeds.”
