حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ ثنا مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ قَالَا ثنا عِمْرَانُ الْقَصِيرُ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ كَبَّرَ ثُمَّ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ قَيَّامُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ أَنْتَ حَقٌّ وَقَوْلُكَ حَقٌّ وَوَعْدُكَ حَقٌّ وَلِقَاؤُكَ حَقٌّ وَالْجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ وَالنَّارُ حَقٌّ وَالسَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ اللهُمَّ لَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ وَبِكَ خَاصَمْتُ وَإِلَيْكَ حَاكَمْتُ أَنْتَ رَبُّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ وَمَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ أَنْتَ إِلَهِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ»

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ that when he stood for the night prayer, he would say the takbīr and then say: “O Allah, Yours is the praise, the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth; Yours is the praise, the Light of the heavens and the earth; Yours is the praise, the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all within them. You are the Truth, Your word is the truth, Your promise is the truth, the meeting with You is true, the Garden is true, the Fire is true, and the Hour is true. O Allah, to You I have submitted, in You I have believed, upon You I have relied, to You I have turned, by You I have disputed, and to You I have brought judgment. You are our Lord, and to You is the return. My Lord, forgive me what I have kept secret and what I have made public, what I have sent ahead and what I have delayed. You are my God; there is no god but You.”
