حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ لُوَيْنُ ثنا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَرَّ بِرَجُلٍ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ وَرَجُلٌ يَقُودُهُ بحزامٍ فِي أَنْفِهِ فِي نَذْرٍ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَطَعَهُ وَقَالَ «قُدْهُ بِيَدِهِ» وَمَرَّ بِرَجُلٍ قَدْ رَبَطَ يَدَهُ إِلَى إِنْسَانٍ بِسَيْرٍ أَوْ بِخَيْطٍ أَوْ شَيْءٍ غَيْرِ ذَلِكَ فَقَطَعَهُ وَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «قُدْهُ بِيَدِهِ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ passed by a man circumambulating the House while another man was leading him by a nose-ring due to a vow he had made, so he cut it and said: “Lead him by his hand.” And he passed by a man who had tied his hand to another person with a strap or a thread or something else, so he cut it and the Prophet ﷺ said: “Lead him by his hand.”
